• The Union Music Academy offers individual lessons for students ages 5-adult and strives to foster a lifelong love of music using a variety of teaching and piano methods based on the individual personalities and needs of our students. All students 8 and up attending one-on-one lessons are required to have a piano or keyboard to practice at home.

All private lessons are $120 a month for a 30-minute lesson once a week, with a $25 registration fee due at the beginning of the school year. Students will be required to purchase the method books recommended by their teacher. All tuition is collected at the beginning of each month, with no refunds for classes missed. The school year runs from September through May. If a teacher has to cancel in a 3-lesson month, the teacher will send lesson instructions either through email or via a video lesson. Otherwise, you will be given a credit for next month’s tuition. If one lesson has to be canceled during a 4 or 5-lesson month, no make up or credit will be offered.

  • We offer high-quality group lessons using state-of-the-art curriculum and teaching methodology. These group lessons cover theory, technique, composition, ear-training, improvisation, sight-reading, and more. Groups are a new take on traditional piano lessons and have become more and more common for motivating and engaging young musicians. Our group classes are for piano students ages 4 and up.

The school year runs from September - May, with classes beginning Sept. 5. All students in group lessons have a registration/materials fee of $25, due upon registration. Group lesson tuition assumes a 3-lesson month. If a month allows for 4 lessons, the 4th lesson is free.

Students ages 4 and up are 45 minute classes of up to 6 students for $80 a month. Group lessons must have 3-6 students in order to lock in the group lesson rate. If the group has 1 member, tuition defaults to the private lesson rate of $120 a month. If the group has 2 members, tuition defaults to $95 a month. All tuition is collected at the beginning of each month, with no refunds for classes missed. If a teacher has to cancel in a 3-lesson month, we will attempt to reschedule or sub for each other’s classes. Otherwise, you will be given a credit for next month’s tuition. If one lesson has to be canceled during a 4 or 5-lesson month, no make up or credit will be offered.

Students may drop at any time with written notice, but no refunds will be given for payments already made.
